Ultrasonographer - 12H Night Shifts

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Sun-Wed, four 10-hour night shifts, 8 PM - 6 AM. Weekends on an as-needed basis may be required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our team at a large trauma facility. The ideal candidate will possess ARDMS certification in abdomen, gynecology, and vascular ultrasound, with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including time spent in a breast care center where breast biopsies are performed. Experience at a large teaching hospital and familiarity with Epic EMR within the past 2 years are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations with a focus on abdominal, gynecology, vascular, and breast biopsies.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Document and communicate findings effectively to the clinical team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARDMS certification in abdomen, gynecology, and vascular ultrasound.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound imaging.
• Experience in a breast care center performing breast biopsies.
• Experience in a large teaching hospital.
• Recent Epic experience (within the last 2 years) is required.
• BLS certification.
• Ultrasound Tech Certification verification (equivalency).
