As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Manager to lead our Network Delivery Implementation (NDI) organization as a Technical Lead. This pivotal leadership role is instrumental in driving the successful and scalable deployment of Google's large-scale networking solutions within their assigned region in North America. This leader will be responsible for establishing and executing a goal for continuous improvement, meticulously driving processes and performance to achieve dynamic metrics across interval, quality, and cost. A paramount focus will be on cultivating a strong culture of operational safety, viewed through the lens of our customers. In this role, you will possess a deep understanding of the large-scale networking landscape, coupled with a track record of driving business process innovation that accelerates network delivery at scale. Experience working within complex data center environments and a strong background in network technologies are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Network Implementation Engineers responsible for network build, operations, and maintenance across metros and data centers, ensuring seamless project execution and resource optimization.
• Lead the team in identifying, defining, and managing interdependencies across drive projects.
• Oversee and direct the handling of complex change request escalations.
• Provide expert technical leadership and guidance to your team, leveraging a deep understanding of network architecture.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of network implementation engineers.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and accountability.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career growth.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within NDI processes. Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and cost reduction in network delivery.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits.
