Location: Denver, CO

Pay: $115,000 - 125,000

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Insurance or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in corporate insurance, risk management or a related field.
• Hands-on experience managing corporate insurance programs and renewals.
• Experience managing or overseeing insurance claims.
• Experience working with brokers, carriers and/or underwriters.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage and risk transfer.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to develop reporting and dashboards.
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple processes, deadlines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual corporate insurance renewal process from start to finish.
• Manage relationships with brokers, carriers, underwriters and adjusters.
• Analyze insurance coverage, exposures and risk-transfer strategies.
• Manage and oversee claims from initiation through resolution.
• Prepare clear, accurate and executive-ready insurance and risk presentations.
• Manage letters of credit, surety bonds and guarantees.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Operations, HR and Safety.
• Monitor insurance programs, claims activity and related financial exposure.
• Develop reporting, dashboards and analytics to support risk-management decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and risk-transfer strategies.
• Communicate recommendations and complex insurance concepts effectively to leadership.
