Pharmacy SupervisorA full-time Pharmacy Supervisor role is available within an onsite animal health compounding pharmacy setting in Bakersfield, CA. This position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $160,000 to $185,000 plus bonus potential, with eligibility for benefits.Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and mentor a team of pharmacists to achieve productivity and quality goalsManage daily compounding operations ensuring smooth workflow and complianceEnforce adherence to USP 795, 797, and 800 standards and state regulationsMaintain accurate training documentation and verify proper compounding proceduresAssist in drug selection for dispensing and compounded preparations tailored to animal health needsRecommend process improvements and drive continuous quality enhancementsCollaborate with pharmacy leadership and cross-functional teams as neededUphold confidentiality and company policies rigorouslyQualifications and Experience:Current, valid California Pharmacist license in good standingBachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited institutionMinimum 2 years of management experience overseeing pharmacy lab personnel2-5 years of hands-on compounding pharmacy experience, preferably in animal healthStrong expertise in USP 795, 797, 800, State Board regulations, and 503A compounding requirementsExcellent leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsSchedule:Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:15 PMThis contract opportunity is ideal for a qualified pharmacist looking to take on a supervisory role in a specialized compounding environment focused on animal health.
