About the Role

Chaparral Ford is seeking an experienced and dedicated Automotive Service Technicia n to join our growing service team in Devine, TX.

In this role, you will perform mechanical repairs, routine maintenance, and system diagnostics on a wide variety of Ford vehicles as well as pre-owned models. Whether you have years of dealership experience or are an experienced line mechanic at an independent shop looking for better volume and factory backing, we offer a great environment to build a rewarding career.

• Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, steering, electrical components, and climate control.

• Routine Maintenance: Complete multi-point vehicle inspections, oil changes, tire services, alignments, and fluid flushes to dealership standards.

• Quality Assurance: Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure all work meets safety standards and customer concerns are resolved.

• Communication: Provide clear, accurate notes on repair orders detailing the cause and correction for each job so service advisors can keep customers informed.

• Safety & Shop Standards: Keep your workspace clean and organized while following all safety guidelines and shop policies.

• Experience: 2+ years of professional automotive technician experience in a dealership or independent service center.

• Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic ability and familiarity with modern automotive repair equipment and software.

• Certifications: Ford factory certifications or ASE certifications are a strong plus, but not required for general line technicians.

• Tools: Must own a personal set of professional hand tools suitable for your skill level.

• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record (Required).

• Pre-Employment: Must be willing to undergo a standard background check and drug screening.
