Saw Operator

Saw OperatorWe are seeking a Saw Operator to work in our Monroe, NC facility. In this position you are responsible for cutting orders to meet customer expectations using a variety of saws including abrasive saws, MFL saws, and band saws. A successful candidate will demonstrate an attention to detail and the ability to work independently.This is a night shift position from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, working on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. You will work 2 days, have 2 days off, work 3 days; then 2 days off, work 2 days, then have 3 days off. Training will be 6:00am to 6:00pm on the same rotating 2-2-3 schedule.Additional ResponsibilitiesCutting samples of metalOperate as necessary to cut off prescribed sections and properly disposeSet up machines, change blades, clean machine, and perform simple machine maintenance as neededRead and interpret milling instructions "MIs"Use tape measure and other measuring devicesStamping materials with proper ID and put slings around the finished productsMaintain logs and recordsProven to Perform.
