Senior Web Developer

Our client is
hiring a Senior Web Designer to participate in and lead the design,
development, layout, and coding of a newly developed website for their School
and Teaching Hospital. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span> They will develop
and design the overall web experience for all stakeholders of the School and
Animal Hospital. As part of this project, they will contribute to digital media
strategic initiatives and serve as subject -matter expert on website design and
layout. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

Duties include
but may not be limited to: <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Contribute
  to website strategy and recommend changes to leadership. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Develop
  and design the overall navigation flow, layout of specific pages, and creation
  of individual graphic elements; ensure that all design elements, templates, and
  finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings
  along with the constraints set by development and design. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Develop
  and implement strategic digital media initiatives, priorities, objectives, and
  best practices in collaboration with leadership and other functional work units. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Implement
  graphical and style standards for websites. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Evaluate
  and implement open source and commercial products to meet project needs. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Serve
  as a subject matter expert, consultant, and main point of contact for internal
  and external stakeholders regarding website and application options, design,
  maintenance, and support. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

  hybrid, with two days working remotely, and three days working on -site in Madison. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Three
    or more years of experience designing and developing complex, accessible, and
    useful web properties using WordPress, following brand and WCAG 2.2
    recommendations and standards. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Three
    or more years of experience working with multiple stakeholders to develop
    strategic website projects on a defined timeline. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Three
    or more years of experience using graphic design principles to develop
    beautifully alluring and engaging websites. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

      enabling content owners and providers to maintain their own web information. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
