Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio, requiring 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts. Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hour days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for the use of diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. You will also prepare and care for patients undergoing radiologic testing. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required Follow orders from physicians regarding which area of the patient's body requires imaging Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the appropriate position Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to yourself and the patient by taking appropriate protection precautions Calibrate imaging equipment Prepare results for physician review Maintain accurate patient records Understand and use the McKesson PACS system Qualifications Required: 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist BLS certification ARRT (R) National Certification State-specific licensing when required Additional requirements may apply before beginning the assignment.
