About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Ambulatory Surgery Center at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn is responsible for nursing care and outcomes for a group of patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care. Highlights Pay: $125,281.64 - $155,281.64 Annually Location: Brooklyn, NY Facility: NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Perform other duties aligned with the mission and values of the organization. Demonstrate personal accountability for professional practice and growth. Document patient assessment, reassessment, and progress toward goal achievement accurately and timely. Promote patient safety and quality, adhering to National Patient Safety Goals. Communicate and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members, escalating situations appropriately. Establish effective caring relationships with staff, patients, families, and other healthcare team members. Administer medication and parenteral therapy in accordance with policy and procedure, including blood administration. Establish priorities for patient care delivery and coordinate patient care responsibilities. Provide patient/family education and assist in discharge planning. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care based on patient criteria.
