Overview
Occupational Therapist – Acute Care travel assignment in Bowie, Maryland. Start date 08/31/2026 for 19 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,917–$2,044 per week with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shift: 5x8 days, 08:00–16:30. Setting: skilled nursing facility.

- Setting: skilled nursing facility (acute care oriented travel) Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and contribute to treatment planning for adult residents in a skilled nursing setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to improve activities of daily living, mobility, upper-extremity function, and cognitive skills.
- Reassess patients regularly and adjust care plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge potential.
- Document patient progress and treatment interventions accurately in the electronic medical record according to facility guidelines.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, participate in rounds, and contribute to care planning to support patient goals. Requirements
- Active occupational therapy license in Maryland or eligibility for licensure by endorsement.
- Current degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited program (Bachelor’s or Master’s, as required by state licensure).
- Preference for experience in acute care or skilled nursing settings; ability to work in a fast-paced SNF environment.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship for this travel assignment and available for the full 19-week contract. Benefits and Support
