Therapy Technician (CNA), Per Diem Weekend Shift, Inpatient Rehabilitation

Therapy Technician/CNA – Inpatient Rehabilitation – Rockville Rockville Rehab seeks to hire a Therapy Technician/CNA for our inpatient rehabilitation department. The role supports the therapy team and contributes to the mission of providing physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Responsibilities Assist the therapist in treating patients Transport patients to and from scheduled activities (teams, therapy, dining) Order durable medical equipment for discharge Maintain inventory of supplies and documents Communicate schedule changes to patients and families Clean equipment (wheelchairs, durable medical equipment, mats) Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High School diploma or GED required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Maryland required Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Basic computer skills/proficiency with Word and Excel required Good verbal and written communication skills Previous experience in a therapy/rehab or healthcare setting preferred Enthusiastic, driven individual who works well in a team environment; self‑motivated preferred Work Schedule Employment Type: Per Diem Typical Daily Schedule: Weekends Holiday Requirements: Two holidays a year (including a winter holiday) Shift: Day Weekend Requirements: As listed in daily schedule Shift Differential Eligible: Yes Compensation: Per diem at $23 per hour.
