Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) Experience: 2 years of Emergency Room experience required License: Valid state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Epic experience required Previous travel experience preferred Description: The shift is nights from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Schedule includes weekdays and some weekends. Rotating holidays are required. Floating is required within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Estimated patient ratios are variable. Experience in pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics is preferred. The weekly weekend shift requirement is 8. Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation. The patient diagnoses include a range of emergency department cases. The unit supports special procedures and equipment relevant to trauma and stroke services. Candidates must complete necessary credentialing processes promptly. References are required from two professional contacts, including one from a manager or supervisor. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
