We very much look forward to working with you!/ph3Job Description/h3pUL Solutions, will be installing a solar monitoring system (SMS) near Omaha, TX on behalf of one of our Clients. The station is (roughly 25x25 footprint) consists of a few solar panels, (2) 7-foot tripods, and scientific measurement equipment surrounded by a locked chain link fence. The station will be monitoring the solar resource as well as other meteorological and weather-related parameters./ppThe station requires weekly maintenance, on the same day each week during daylight hours to ensure consistent and accurate data is being collected for a minimum of 1 year and maximum of 2 years. Your duties will include the following:/polliUphold highest level of communication as first point of contact for equipment in field;/liliEnsure all equipment is level clean on a weekly basis;/liliProvide troubleshooting (w/support from UL Solutions) and when requested, repair(s) for low-medium complexity issues;/liliEnsure there is no debris obstructing the system (depending on site/region, grass cutting, snow removal, or clearing brush); and/liliConfirm the system is secure and hasnt been tampered with./li/olpEach maintenance visit should take 60-90 minutes. UL Solutions requires a weekly excel logbook uploaded via internet along with photos and other documentation to support the visit which should take 45-90 minutes. The entire process is estimated to require between 2-4 hours each week, including travel time to and from site./ppOccasionally, UL Solutions may request your assistance in replacing or troubleshooting equipment. A Senior Engineer would contact you to walk you through the process. They will support you while onsite and review data after the equipment repair./ph3Qualifications/h3pNo solar experience is required.
