Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical & Telemetry

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Medical/Surgical and Telemetry specialty. This position involves working three 12-hour night shifts each week.

Job Responsibilities:

• Float among all facilities as required.
• Provide specialized care for patients with stroke and various co-morbidities.
• Monitor telemetry patients, utilizing remote monitoring technology as well as hands-on bedside monitoring.
• Administer blood products, including accessing ports and managing central and peripheral lines, along with PICC line care.
• Conduct feeding tube care and management.
• Treat patients with CVAs and manage oxygen via nasal cannula.
• Implement isolation precautions and wound care, including the use of wound vacs.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record systems preferred.
• Telemetry experience, both remote and on-unit monitoring, is essential.
• Ability to manage and provide care for patients with a variety of medical conditions.
