Mid-Level Financial Regulatory Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Financial Regulatory Associate in Charlotte, NC. The role involves advising clients in the financial services sector on regulatory inquiries, compliance obligations, and innovative payment products across domestic and international markets. Duties Advise clients on state and federal regulatory inquiries and rulemakings. Represent clients in consumer protection matters, including FCRA, FDCPA, ECOA, and more. Engage in product counseling and compliance across various markets. Collaborate with legal and business teams to address client needs. Requirements 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial regulatory matters. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse teams. Excellent writing and oral communication skills. North Carolina Bar membership required. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership in the North Carolina Bar. Skills Understanding of fintech clients and payment products. Experience with innovative technology platforms. Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for legal research and document drafting.
