This full-time position allows you to collaborate with a specialized child and adolescent psychiatry team, focusing on delivering top-quality mental health care to young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs of children and adolescents, leveraging standardized tools and techniques to gather critical information. \n
- Create and implement tailored treatment plans that align with the developmental stages of young patients and engage families in the therapeutic process. \n
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to address diverse mental health issues, ensuring that treatment approaches are age-appropriate and engaging. \n
- Facilitate individual and family therapy sessions, encouraging collaboration and communication between family members to foster a supportive atmosphere at home. \n
- Work closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of the patient's mental and emotional health are addressed. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services during critical mental health emergencies, equipping families with essential coping strategies and resources. \n
- Educate patients and their families about mental health challenges, available treatments, and community resources, promoting understanding and advocacy within the family structure. \n
- Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation that complies with all clinical and legal standards while actively participating in continuous education and team meetings. \n
This position specifically addresses the mental health needs of children and adolescents dealing with a range of disorders, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. By approaching each case with sensitivity and a focus on developmental appropriateness, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental and emotional well-being of our youngest clients and their families. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois. \n
- Comprehensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based therapy practices. \n
- Proven experience providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents, inclusive of both individual and family dynamics. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating compassion and patience while working with young clients and their families. \n
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology. \n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and support among colleagues. \n

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a community health or outpatient environment. \n
- Demonstrated expertise in family therapy modalities and crisis intervention techniques. \n
- Experience working within diverse populations and understanding cultural competence in treatment approaches. \n
We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
