Description of role:
Our physical therapy clinic is in need of a Pelvic Health Physical / Occupational Therapist. East Tennessee Spine and Sport has the largest pelvic health program offering in the East Tennessee area. We're looking for a compassionate, forward-thinking Pelvic Health Physical Therapist who excels at assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses and devising creative but effective treatment plans. This position will consist of a 100% pelvic health case load.
We operate a patient focused environment with encouragement to achieve their goals. If you love motivating people and creating treatment plans for long term physical health and wellness, this position is for you.
Tasks:
- Evaluate new patients and conditions to ensure appropriate care
- Devise detailed treatment and care plans for each of the patients
- Communicate and coordinate with patients' physicians to ensure a consistent level of care
- Exercise independent judgment based on experience to implement effective treatment combinations
- Report on patients' progress
- Assist administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries
- Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations
Skills and Requirements:
- <1 years professional PT experience (new graduates encouraged)
- Valid state Physical Therapist license
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
- Basic computer skills
- CPR and first aid certification required
Work Schedule: Full time, Monday-Friday, evening and early morning availability required
