Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday block schedule with call and late days as required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, and General/Robotics/Trauma surgical specialties
• Perform and assist with craniotomy and burr hole procedures (required)
• Participate in call and late days as required per block schedule
• Complete orientation modules during scheduled orientation period
• Maintain accurate patient charting and documentation throughout the surgical episode of care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand required at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Operating Room service line
• Craniotomy and burr hole experience required
• Must pass a facility-administered drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — CBD products should also be avoided prior to arrival
• Must live more than 150 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals not accepted)
• Previous permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Altera charting system preferred
