Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Eureka, KS
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 36/48 Hours Weekly
Shift: Variable Nights – 12-Hour Shifts

Compensation:

• Traveler Pay: $40–$43/hr based on experience
• Local Pay: $34–$37/hr based on experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician while assisting with patient assessments, treatments, and routine clinical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under physician or Registered Nurse supervision
• Take and document vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirations
• Assist physicians during examinations and minor medical procedures
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed
• Perform clinical tasks such as wound care, dressing changes, and specimen collection
• Prepare patients for diagnostic testing and procedures
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Required Qualifications:

• Current Kansas or Compact State LPN License
• Minimum 2 years of experience within specialty required
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
