Senior HR Business Partner (Tech)

About the Role:Tubi is seeking a strategic and agile Sr. HRBP (Tech) to help us build a world-class People team responsible for providing high-quality support to employees, in close partnership with functions such as Talent Management, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and Workplace. The Sr. HRBP (Tech) will act as a strategic thought partner to leaders across our Engineering and Product organizations, and tackle org issues with people-focused solutions aligned with business goals. This role will be responsible for empowering a culture of high performance, retaining and engaging talent, and driving velocity through simplicity across the tech team.This role is critical to scaling a high-growth organization and driving operational efficiency across the People Team. You'll have a direct impact on the employee experience at Tubi — come bring your bright ideas to the team! This is an individual contributor role reporting to our VP of People. This role will be hybrid, based in SF.What You'll Do:Collaborate with tech management to support initiatives by understanding organizational objectives, issues, needs, and key success factorsProvide strategic business partnership and coaching to all levels of leadershipDesign and drive talent programs to shape and reinforce our cultural values and missionManage our annual talent cycle, inclusive of compensation planning and executionProactively assess team and employee development needs, anticipate risks and unintended consequences, and lead iteration cycles on ambiguous or undefined problemsOwn stakeholder alignment across Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and other cross-functional partners, facilitating collaboration at scale to drive efficiencies and simplify workflowsLead a talent vertical or key initiative (e.g., leadership development, employee engagement/enablement, career pathing) in partnership with the People Programs team, measuring impact and iterating over timeManage the administrative responsibilities of the People Operations team, performing operational duties required to keep our processes running efficiently and effectivelySupport our onboarding program to ensure seamless integration of new hires into Tubi's culture and communityConduct off-boarding, analyze trends, and share opportunities with executives to influence/inform decisions, modeling urgency and a bias toward iteration in high-impact programsManage compliance programs, including annual reporting, mandatory filings, policy updates, and employee trainingMore About You:You can successfully strike the right balance of being an advisor to the business but also an advocate for employeesYou will be a whiz with project management, change management, and driving programs independently, even when the path forward is ambiguous or undefinedYou are hyper-focused on delivering results in a fast-paced environment, with the judgment to anticipate risk before it surfacesYou can think big and execute the smallest of details equally well Knowledge of the Technology and Media space, understanding trends, and bringing great ideas to the tableUnderstand people dynamics, organizational strategy, and talent processes, and can align HR strategies to org-level KPIs as business needs shiftYou're able to negotiate sensitive situations with confidence and finesseYou can hit the ground running with little guidance/directionYou are not afraid to speak out, own stakeholder alignment, and shape high-visibility programs/initiativesCollaborative team player who facilitates collaboration across functions at an org-wide scale and isn't afraid to roll up your sleevesYour Background:5+ years of HR or People Operations experience within a high-growth company3+ years supporting technical functions like Engineering and Product3+ years of designing and implementing talent management and employee experience programs, ideally owning a vertical (e.g., L&D, DEIB, people systems) rather than a single initiativeExperience supporting tech organizations and coaching executivesExperience creating, owning, and driving strategic company-wide initiatives and programs, and measuring their impact to iterate over timePassionate about company culture and experienced in shaping the right valuesStrong analytical skills and logical thought processes with the ability to identify, resolve, and anticipate risk in sophisticated and sensitive HR issues/problemsStrong track record of using HR data to drive solutions and influence leaders as business context shiftsProven effective partner management and collaboration with other teams, including owning stakeholder alignment for major cross-functional programsKnowledge and experience with HR tools, applicant tracking systems, and data management/reporting techniquesExperience creating and fostering partnerships with internal leadership and executive teamsWorkday experience; other HRIS systems a plusBA/BS degree from a four-year accredited university preferredStrong business acumen and writing skills#LI-CN1#LI-HybridPursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below.
