About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM plus call Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Active North Dakota Rad Tech License required for ARRT credentialed clinicians Certifications: BLS, RCIS or ARRT (ARRT must be registered) Must-Have: Panning experience; scrubbing experience preferred but not required Experience with IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro, and 4-port manifold preferred Proficiency in IV starts preferred Description: Clienttion Badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start. Department focused on various cardiac procedures. Common procedures include Emergent Revascularization, LHC, RHC, ATK Peripheral Diagnostic/Interventional, Cardioversion, TEE, Devices, Pericardiocentesis, and Temporary Pacemaker. Job duties include scrubbing in and/or panning and starting IVs. Experience with EMR such as EPIC and Philips Xper is preferred. Equipment used includes Siemens C-Arm and various cardiac devices. The team consists of Intensivist MDs who are available in-house 24/7. Charge nurse oversees operations and assists with patient assignments. Shifts typically follow a Monday through Friday schedule with additional call requirements during the week and on weekends. Call response time is 20 minutes. Additional assistance may be required in Heart and Vascular Pre/Post departments. Orientation consists of a one-week classroom and lab experience. Candidates should bring their own lock for lockers and hospital-designated shoes. All potential hires must adhere to a radius rule of 50 miles. Requests for time off should be submitted upfront, with a limit on the number of days. Licensure and certification verification is required prior to employment.
