Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL-A Local Driver to join our team. This position offers daily home time , consistent local routes, and competitive pay. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned local routes.
• Pick up and deliver freight in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported safely.
• Maintain accurate logs and required transportation documentation.
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and represent the company positively.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screening and background check.
• At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience preferred (or as required by company policy).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, when necessary.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
