Base pay range $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr Overview The freezer, cooler, and deli stocker role supports store operations and customer service in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area. You will help maintain product availability, ensure proper handling and sanitation, and assist Members with their needs. This position is designed to start a fulfilling career at Sam’s Club. Responsibilities Maintain safety of the facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps and proper handling of hazardous materials; correct or report unsafe situations to Management. Maintain the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by handling claims and returns, stocking merchandise, setting up and organizing displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, and completing required documentation. Provide Member service by acknowledging Members, identifying needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues. Follow policies related to the Freezer/Cooler area, including food handling, equipment sanitation, Cold Chain procedures, cleaning, monitoring equipment operation, and reporting issues to Management. What you will impact Ensure high-quality products are available for Members and that shelves are clean and properly maintained. Maintain temperature control and verify expiration dates, disposing of lesser-quality products as needed. Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays; maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.
