Assistant Professor of Medicine/Infectious Diseases Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor in Medicine/Infectious Diseases to join the Division of Infectious Diseases and/or the Public Health Research Institute (PHRI). The position includes patient care; teaching fellows, residents, and medical students; research; and scholarship in the field of Infectious Disease medicine. Research support is available for qualified candidates. Position Status Full Time Compensation Minimum Academic Base of $144,413, commensurate with faculty rank. Responsibilities Provide patient care for infectious disease cases. Educate fellows, residents, and medical students. Conduct research and scholarship in infectious disease medicine. Participate in program service and curriculum development. Qualifications MD or equivalent medical degree. New Jersey State Medical License. State of New Jersey Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) Physician Registration. Controlled Substance Registration Certificate from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
