Maintenance Manager Hyatt Place St Petersburg - St Petersburg, FL 33701 Overview Salary Range $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 Salary/year Position Type Full Time Description A Kolter Hospitality Maintenance Manager delivers service excellence and facilitates a positive guest experience while maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department. This position is responsible for hotel maintenance including preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and responding to emergencies. Performance Expectations: Able to identify, report, and perform maintenance throughout the property such as mechanical, electrical, painting, elevator maintenance, carpentry, and plumbing. Responsible for the completion of scheduled repairs, emergency repairs and preventive repairs of hotel facilities and equipment throughout the hotel as assigned. Continuously update and maintain accurate maintenance records. Responds to all calls, requests for repairs, and work orders in guest rooms, public and staff areas, as assigned by management, in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner. Maintain work area in an orderly and clean fashion. Ensure all tools/equipment used are returned to the shop and/or secured in proper storage area. High level understanding of emergency procedures to assist in handling emergencies to protect our guests and team members and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance. Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules and MDS requirements. Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room. Follow all safety procedures while working. Eagerness to grow and/or develop within the company Passionately provide personalized guest service Qualifications General Requirements: Able to work most weekends and holidays. Basic skills and knowledge of the following trades: electrical, plumbing, HVAC/refrigeration, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, carpentry, paint/wall covering, etc. Report to work on time and in proper uniform. Experience: Previous experience and knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and building maintenance preferred. Education: None Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours.
