Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough intake assessments and mental health screenings to identify the unique psychological needs of students and develop personalized treatment plans. \n
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, offering crisis intervention and emotional support for students facing a wide array of challenges, including anxiety, depression, and academic stress. \n
- Lead therapeutic workshops and group sessions that address key topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and personal development tailored to the student demographic. \n
- Collaborate closely with faculty members, academic advisors, and student organizations to create an integrated support system that fosters academic achievement and mental wellness. \n
- Participate in outreach initiatives, including awareness campaigns and wellness workshops, aimed at promoting mental health resources within the campus community. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, complying with all ethical and legal standards, to ensure the integrity of our mental health services. \n
You will be primarily working with a diverse population of college students, each facing unique challenges that require tailored psychological support. Understanding the mental health concerns prevalent among young adults, you will address issues such as transitional stress, identity exploration, and campus-related pressures, ensuring each client receives empathetic and effective care.
Qualifications\n- \n
- An active and relevant mental health license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline underpinning the core competencies of this role. \n
- Proven understanding of the mental health challenges specific to a college setting, coupled with effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and collaborate with campus personnel. \n
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapy practices that cater to young adults and the ability to apply brief therapy models effectively. \n
- Ability to manage a diverse and often fluctuating caseload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care and ethical practice. \n

- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in mental health counseling, particularly in educational or community settings. \n
