Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Inpatient Rehab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Must have license in hand prior to start date Certifications: BLS required, Manual Therapy preferred Must-Have: - Experience working with outpatient populations - Ability to provide occasional Saturday coverage - Local candidates accepted - Candidates may float within scope to meet facility needs Description: This role primarily works with the outpatient patient population. The clinician will manage a caseload that typically comprises 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient. The majority of outpatient patients present with orthopedic conditions, including low back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, post-operative cases, and stroke rehabilitation. Inpatient responsibilities will include working with post-operative patients, individuals with generalized weakness, and patients requiring assistance with mobility and functional recovery. The swing-bed program offers short-term rehabilitation with the goal of helping patients regain function and return home safely. Candidates can expect a varied caseload with a strong focus on outpatient orthopedic care while also having opportunities to engage with inpatient rehabilitation services. Experience with vestibular patients is a plus but not a requirement. All travelers must float as needed within the facility.
