Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Bloomington CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access screening personnel and visitors and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate clearly and help deter incidents through a visible presence. This driving position requires a valid drivers license in the job state. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients drivers and visitors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen packages vehicles personnel and/or visitors in accordance with established procedures for a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees contractors drivers and visitors while maintaining accurate records as required.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas loading zones business operations and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
