NOW HIRING — FULL-TIME LINE COOK

Creole Bagelry & Café is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our team!

We’ve been voted Best Breakfast for 9 years running , and we’re looking for a cook who takes pride in their work and wants to help us keep that streak going. We have been in business over 20 years and we are not going anywhere. This is reliable, long-term employment.

EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Applicants must have previous full-service restaurant kitchen/line experience. Fast-food experience alone does not qualify.

What we’re looking for:
• Full-time availability
• Must be available weekends
• Strong line-cooking experience
• Able to work quickly and efficiently in a busy kitchen
• Dependable and punctual
• Team player with a good attitude
• Someone who cares about consistency and putting out quality food

And here's the good part:

☀️ NO NIGHT SHIFTS

NO DOUBLE SHIFTS

NO CLOSING AT 11 PM OR MIDNIGHT

We’re a breakfast and lunch restaurant. Come to work, knock out a busy shift, and still have your evenings to yourself. Shifts are typically 6:00AM to 2:00PM.

If you’re an experienced cook with great work ethic looking for a full-time position with daytime hours, we’d like to hear from you.

Please do not apply if you do not have full-service restaurant line-cook experience or cannot work weekends.

Welcome to the Creole Bagelry and Cafe’, home of the Northshore’s only scratch-made, kettle-boiled, authentic New York style bagels. Founded in 2003 by Bernadette and Dominic LaLa, The Darby family took over ownership in 2012 and have steadily updated and expanded the concept to its current iteration. We focus on quality products and superior customer service in a clean and inviting atmosphere. We have chosen Slidell's "Best Breakfast" by multiple publications for nine years in a row and we are looking for team members who want to help us continue that streak.
