Groundskeeper

JOB SUMMARY: Low to moderate skill level using knowledge, skills, abilities and characteristics found in Resort & Casino grounds keeping setting. Participate in cross-training program to lift skills and awareness.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Use of cutting and pruning tools to maintain plants and trees.Proper and safe use of lawn mowers.Minor drip irrigation and sprinkler systems repair.Trim and prune trees and shrubs.Cleaning and exterior trash pick up.Cleaning and sweeping with mop and/or broom.Manual watering of plants or gardens.Use leaf blower to clean walkways.Rake areas as directed.Ability to work flexible hours, shifts, or days as determined by business demands.Complies with Federal, State and Tribal laws.Works in a safe manner; complies with company and OSHA safety regulations.All other duties as assigned (non-gaming functions and issued gaming license permitting).EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma, GED equivalent. Requires 0-2 years experience in the field, and procedures within a particular field.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to walk, stoop, and lift up to seventy-five pounds.
