Learning & Development Specialist

Overview Under the direction of the Talent Development Manager, the Learning & Development Specialist will support training projects and contribute across the full instructional design and training development lifecycle, including design, development, and delivery of learning solutions. This includes the design and development of eLearning courses, training procedural manuals, job guides, and training materials for in-person and online delivery. The Specialist also supports training by leading instructor-led workshops and onsite training sessions. Benefits 25 Days PTO Medical Dental Vision 401k – 100% match up to 6% Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain training programs and curriculum that address specific business needs and performance gaps, including eLearning for new employee onboarding. Deliver onsite training and development programs for new managers and departmental cross‑training. Conduct online continued development courses. Create, edit, and maintain training procedural manuals and job guides for various departments. Conduct seminars, workshops, and instructor‑led group training sessions. Track and document training participation, outcomes, and identified learning gaps. Organize and maintain training materials, session documentation, and program records. Publish and maintain courses in the LMS. Evaluate effectiveness and suggest improvements to the current training program(s). Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and subject‑matter experts to support training initiatives. Employment Conditions This is an in‑office only opportunity in Pearland. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, communication, project management, Human Resources, or a related field preferred (or a minimum of 4 years related work experience in lieu of a degree). 2–5 years of eLearning and instructor‑led training experience (including internships or academic projects). Proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, and other authoring tools (portfolio or work samples available upon request).
