Technical Sales Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Lead to join our growing Sales team, where you will play a key role in shaping strategic customer relationships and driving adoption of cutting-edge cryogenic technologies across the quantum and high-tech manufacturing industries. S. and Canada, where you will manage complex roadmap discussions in cryogenics and measurement infrastructure while aligning Bluefors solutions to evolving customer needs. You will develop and execute account technology strategies that connect customer objectives with Bluefors’ business goals, taking ownership of opportunity creation and long-term sales development. In this role, you will establish and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships in close collaboration with the account team, actively driving collaboration initiatives within key accounts. You will also work closely with internal sales and technical teams to ensure seamless and high-quality customer experience. Acting as the customer advocate, you will resolve issues efficiently, coordinate cross-functional resources, and contribute to the development of best practices that support sustained technical partnerships. You will also monitor market and competitor trends to identify new business opportunities and help influence strategic direction, along with performing additional duties as assigned. We are looking for a person with a minimum MSc-level degree in applied or technical physics, or equivalent strong experience in quantum computing or a closely related technical field. You should bring proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, ideally within scientific instrumentation or advanced technology environments. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to clearly translate complex technical concepts into customer value. You must be willing to travel as needed and have excellent command of English, both written and spoken. We also appreciate candidates who have a background in scientific research or R&D, as well as documented experience in technical sales of scientific instrumentation. • Serve as the customer advocate, resolving issues in a timely manner, coordinating cross-functional resources, and developing best practices to support long-term technical collaboration.
• Minimum of an MSc-level degree in applied or technical physics, or strong experience in quantum computing or a related field
• Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably with scientific instrumentation
• Willingness to travel
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Scientific research or R&D background

• Documented experience in technical sales of scientific instrumentation
• Knowledge of cryogenic equipment, specifically dilution refrigerators

The salary range for this position is $130–150k DOE plus bonus. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and the position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is identified. This position will have work that may be in an office or manufacturing setting.
