Physical Therapist (Part-Time)

Position Summary As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing treatment programs to restore and improve the physical functions of our patients. This position will see a variety of orthopedic conditions including acute work‑related injuries, pre‑ and post‑surgical injuries and conditions, and workplace wellness and injury prevention. You will design programs based on the patient’s specific goals to get them back to work and life with dignity and confidence. The therapy division of Agile Occupational Medicine is a growing business emphasizing quality care with the highest standards. The Agile approach is focused on speed of recovery while we keep the patient engaged in the process, with aggressive scheduling and follow‑up, getting injured workers back to work and life as soon as possible. Specialties: Orthopedics, sports medicine, manual therapy, ergonomics, injury prevention. Responsibilities Assesses the therapeutic and rehabilitative status of the patient and develops an appropriate treatment plan Updates and modifies the treatment plan on an ongoing basis. Uses clinical reasoning in treating and planning, implementing, and monitoring patient progress. Instructs and counsels patients effectively in exercises, home programs, and patient education. Maintains open communication with the patient and referring physician (when applicable) regarding the patient’s plan of care and progress. Treats team members, patients, families, and others with dignity and respect. Performs other job‑related duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate/Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current California PT license required Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software Knowledge of physical therapy office management systems and procedures Strong written and verbal communication skills Outpatient experience is preferred.
