JSG is recruiting a Scientist - II (Associate) in Boston MA As a Scientist - II (Associate), you will play a critical role in advancing our understanding of disease mechanisms and developing groundbreaking therapeutics. This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of drug discovery, leveraging your expertise in cellular assays and high-throughput screening to make a tangible impact on global health. Pay $48.60/hour What You’ll Do Design, optimize, and execute various in vitro cellular assays utilizing a range of methodologies Conduct semi- and fully automated high-throughput compound and biologics screens to support internal drug discovery programs Develop experimental strategies to elucidate biomarkers, mechanisms of action, and resistance pathways Document findings meticulously and contribute scientific insights to multidisciplinary research teams Collaborate with colleagues across departments to drive innovative solutions and accelerate therapeutic development Required Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field At least 3 years’ experience with laboratory research, including cell culture, assay development, and execution Proficiency in cell passaging, harvesting, and performing high-throughput screening Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis software Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Hands‑on experience with assay troubleshooting and optimization Nice to Have Skills Experience with MSD, AlphaLISA, or other high-throughput assay formats Knowledge of biomarker discovery and mechanism‑of‑action studies Familiarity with data analysis tools such as PowerPoint, Prism, and basic statistics Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
