Job Title: Sr. Public Accountant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Sr. Public Accountant to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This Hybrid, long term contract opportunity is based in Exton, PA and offers the chance to play a critical role in financial reporting, accounting operations, and process improvement efforts. The selected candidate will collaborate with accounting leadership and business partners while helping maintain the integrity of financial data and reporting activities. This position is ideal for a CPA with strong corporate accounting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing to organizational change initiatives.
Compensation:
$62.00/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule option such as 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must be available during core business hours of 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and work an 8 hour day. Overtime is available when business needs require additional support.
Key Responsibilities of the Sr. Public Accountant:

• Support complex accounting activities, financial reporting processes, and compliance requirements associated with a publicly traded organization.
• Oversee critical monthly and annual close procedures to help ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.
• Analyze financial data, reconcile accounts, and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate with accounting leadership and cross functional stakeholders to maintain continuity during operational and system related initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, corporate policies, and regulatory reporting requirements through detailed review and documentation.

• Active CPA certification required with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Previous corporate accounting experience supporting reporting, close activities, and compliance functions within a public company environment.
• Background in public accounting preferred, including experience with regional or national accounting firms; large firm experience will also be considered.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and contribute effectively within a collaborative team setting.
• Experience with enterprise accounting or financial management systems preferred; exposure to system implementation projects is a plus.
