Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Pay: $20 - $30 per hour
Hours: M-F 8-5:30

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll support medication preparation and patient safety. You'll work closely with experienced pharmacy professionals in a state-of-the-art facility committed to innovation, safety, and excellence.


What You'll Do
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Performing sterilization procedures and maintaining strict sterility in medication preparation areas to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety.
• Accurately entering prescription orders into the pharmacy system and verifying patient information to ensure precise medication dispensing.
• Filling, labeling, and packaging prescriptions according to established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Adhering to safety, health, and regulatory standards to maintain a compliant and clean work environment.
• Supporting pharmacy team members with various operational tasks as needed.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A valid Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy technician license.
• PTCB or NHA certification is preferred.
• Prior experience in sterile compounding is a plus, or a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Knowledge of pharmacology is required.
