Orthopedic Surgeon

About this role

As an Orthopedic Surgeon on the Musculoskeletal (MSK) team at Intermountain Health, you will work at Cassia Regional Hospital, seeing a mix of OR and in-office orthopedic surgical patients.

Schedule and Expectations

• Sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance (if applicable)
• 2 days per week in clinic, dedicated in‑office and 2 days OR surgical time
• Orthopedic call requirement, 10 days per month
• Some patient‑preferred hours will be required

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree; or equivalent if education completed outside the United States
• Completion of graduate fellowship medical education training program in Orthopedic Surgery with a CAQ board certification in Sports Medicine
• Graduate education obtained through an ACGME or AOA accredited institution
• ABMS or equivalent AOA Board Certification in the specialty(s) or subspecialty(s) of practice
• Fellowship in Orthopedics Sports Medicine and completion of CAQ
• Active Medical Licensure, or in process of obtaining licensure, required in the state in which physician will practice
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• DEA Registration schedules II-V
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process

An ideal candidate will have experience or interest with local community team coverage and completed their CAQ in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
