Senior HR Generalist

What You Will Be Doing Support daily HR operations for a manufacturing facility or multi‑site operation. Help support recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer support, and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and support talent acquisition strategies. Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation. Support employee engagement initiatives, retention efforts, recognition programs, and workforce communication activities. Assist with employee relations matters by providing guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace concerns. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Prepare, update, and analyze HR metrics and reports, including headcount, turnover, absenteeism, time‑to‑fill, retention, and other key workforce trends. Develop and maintain Excel‑based HR reports, trackers, and analytics dashboards to support leadership decision‑making. Use data to identify trends and recommend improvements related to staffing, engagement, and retention. Support performance management, training coordination, and other employee development initiatives. Assist with policy implementation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Partner with payroll, benefits, safety, and operations teams as needed to support overall employee experience. Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement efforts across the department. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred. Must have 4+ years of HR experience required, with experience in manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Skills / Knowledge We’re Looking For Proven experience in recruiting for hourly and/or salaried roles. Experience supporting employee engagement programs and initiatives. Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and present HR data. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, filtering, sorting, and reporting. Experience in creating and managing data reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics. Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail. HR certification such as SHRM‑CP or PHR is a plus. English / Bilingual a plus. Working Conditions Travel is minimal. Infrequent‑as needed for training. Work Environment: Office/manufacturing production environment.
