Assistant to Adults - Plano Campus

Provides administrative assistance to assigned Minister(s) and ministries at Prestonwood Baptist Church (“PBC”).Responsibilities:Provide administrative assistance to assigned minister to include scheduling appointments, answering telephone, ordering office supplies, and other clerical and administrative duties.Provide administrative support to LifeGroup class leadership for the purpose of scheduling upcoming events, providing outreach information and providing necessary information for attendance, outreach, and announcementsRespond to requests and inquiries from Ministry leadership, teachers, members, attendees, and prospectsRun required ministry reportsCompose and distribute correspondence for the MinistryCoordinate with appropriate church staff for the purpose of organizing ministry eventsUnder the direction of the minister, compose and create informational letters, brochures, etc. for distributionPrepare materials for trainingAssist with the preparation for special events conducted by the ministriesMaintain filesOther duties as assignedRequirements:Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBCExperience in an administrative role preferredStrong communication skills, both written and oralExcellent planning and organizational skillsExcellent attention to detailTeam playerIntermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office productsAbility to work a flexible weekday schedule with flexibility to work occasional Sundays for Church scheduled eventsAbility to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, occasionally perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 10 pounds without assistance #J-18808-Ljbffr Prestonwood Baptist Church
