Senior Statistician

Becton Dickinson seeks a Senior Statistician to support product development and clinical studies in a regulated medical device environment. The role involves designing studies, developing statistical analysis plans, programming analyses in R or SAS, and communicating findings to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Medical Affairs and teams to design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies supporting product development
• Develop and maintain statistical analysis plans and contribute to study protocols and regulatory documentation
• Program, document, validate, and maintain statistical code for data management, analysis, and reporting
• Prepare rigorous statistical reports and technical documentation for internal and external audiences
• Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to publications and conference presentations

Requirements

• Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related quantitative field
• 3+ years experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device environment
• Proficiency programming and validating analyses in R and/or SAS
• Demonstrated ability to independently solve statistical and analytical challenges
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities
• Strong technical report writing and stakeholder management skills
