Residential Manager

Overview We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide support, assistance, and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them lead valued lives within the community by creating a positive home environment. Responsibilities Identify and report any suspected abuse or violations of an individual's rights. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals at all times. Supervise and maintain a positive, well‑trained team that supports interactions with individuals. Provide training, constructive feedback, role‑modeling, and mentoring to staff. Ensure implementation of therapy, training, and behavior programs and required data collection per individuals’ care plans and regulatory agencies. Provide choice and creative activities within a positive, innovative, person‑directed environment. Monitor ongoing compliance with agency directives, licensing standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure all homes, outside areas, and vehicles are well‑maintained and organized. Communicate effectively in English, including medical terminology, both orally and in writing with staff and others. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must successfully complete pre‑employment background and drug screening. Valid driver's license with all required endorsements and a minimum of 3 years driving experience. Basic computer skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: at least one year of experience in the human services field. Preferred: at least one year of supervisory experience. Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal). Mandated reporters: Must report any instances of abuse, neglect, or exploitation encountered.
