Loan Administration Officer Consultant Temp Bilingual Chinese (Banking)
Located fully on-site in Manhattan
- Project length: 6 months+ with potential to extend, depending on performance, business needs and etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or Accounting
- 1-3 years of related commercial banking experience; operations experience preferred
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance rules a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Bilingual skills. English proficiency with good writing capability, ability to read and speak Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate legal counsel for loan-closing documentation and review loan-closing documents for ensuring terms of the approval are represented
- Arrange signing of loan documents
- Process loan transactions (including credit limits, loan advances, loan payments, fees, interest rate changes, etc.)
- Monitor daily loan operations activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, efficiency, and compliance
- Reconcile/verify GL balances against loan reports on daily basis
- Maintain loan records and files
- Prepare periodic loan portfolio reports
- Ensure operational activities comply with applicable laws
