Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• State licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and best practices in school-based therapy
• Excellent communication skills with students, families, and school staff
• Proficient in conducting assessments, evaluations, and therapy planning
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and foster a positive environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy for students as outlined in their IEPs
• Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
• Educate staff and families on communication strategies that support student success
