Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - East Providence, RI
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR opportunity that offers weekly home time with light physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes throughout the Northeast, featuring excellent equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while maintaining a consistent schedule that gets you home every week.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset.
- Our routes are designed to deliver steady miles while ensuring time for family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks outfitted with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for comfort.
- Safely take your assigned truck and trailer home when safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Minimal physical work required, allowing you to concentrate on driving efficiently.
Pay and Miles:
- Average earnings between $1,000 and $1,450 weekly, based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay at $12/hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Covering Northeast routes from Maine to Virginia, with all tolls covered via EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage begins the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
- $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%.
- Passenger policy available after 30 days, subject to age restrictions.
