Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current COTA license in the state of California Experience working with school-aged children preferred Ability to adapt to various school environments (elementary, middle, and high school) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Comfortable working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Primary Responsibilities: Support students in developing fine and gross motor skills, self-care, and classroom participation Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist Maintain accurate records of student progress and report on outcomes Communicate regularly with the supervising Occupational Therapist, teachers, and families Assist in creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment Help modify classroom materials and routines to accommodate students’ needs This contract opportunity allows you to make a lasting difference while broadening your professional experience in varied school settings.
