Respiratory Therapist

Facility: Ambassador Omaha
Location: Omaha, NE
Setting: LTC / Nursing Home / Pediatric Respiratory Care

Contract Details

• Schedule: Days

• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts

• Hours: 36/48 hrs rotating schedule

• Patient Ratio: 1:8 – 1:10

• Pediatric Unit

Pay

• $52 – $54 per hour

Estimated Weekly Pay:

• 36 hrs/week: $1,872 – $1,944/week

• 48 hrs/week: $2,496 – $2,592/week

Required Credentials

• Active Respiratory Therapist License required

• NBRC Certification (CRT or RRT) required

• BLS Certification required

• Pediatric respiratory care experience preferred

• PALS preferred but not required

• Experience in LTC, skilled nursing, or pediatric respiratory settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and assessments

• Monitor pediatric respiratory patients

• Administer oxygen therapy and breathing treatments

• Manage respiratory equipment and documentation

• Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams

• Respond to respiratory emergencies as needed

• Maintain compliance with respiratory care standards
