The Property

Ned's Club Washington DC is a members' club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President's Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.

The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder's Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.

As Part Of Our Bar Operations Team And As A Key Part Of The Food And Beverage Team You Will:

• Keep our bar teams stocked with glassware, equipment, and ingredients, allowing them to prepare our range of drinks
• Work at pace as part of our busy operation, making sure everything is where it is needed, when it is needed so that we can deliver smooth and uninterrupted service to our guests and customers
• Help the bar teams to maintain a clean and tidy bar area, always presenting the clean and professional image our customers expect

What You Can Bring To The Role:

• No experience is necessary for this role, so a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn is all you need
• Whilst you will rarely directly serve customers, you will often be visible in and around service areas, so a high standard of personal presentation and a welcoming vibe is essential for this role
• Not essential, but ideally this will be a stepping stone into a bartender role, so a desire to learn and progress is always welcome
• Able to work efficiently and purposefully within the different bars
• Able to stand for long periods of time during his shift
• Open availability to include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
