Payroll Coordinator

Role: Payroll Coordinator (Contract-to-hire) with professional firm in Trenton, NJ — fully onsite M-F (8:30am–5:00pm, 1-hour lunch). Be the sole payroll person , independently running end-to-end payroll for ~ 250 employees across NJ & PA . Payroll cadence/tools: Bi-weekly + semi-monthly payroll; firm uses Paycom (similar systems like ADP/UKG/Paychex are acceptable). Reporting line + scope: Reports to the Director of Finance ; handles reconciliations, leave tracking, employee payroll inquiries, and supports audits/compliance.
