Work may be performed on a single project or multiple projects at one time. Work is performed with limited supervision.ResponsibilitiesEffectively apply project management methodologies and best practicesIdentify resources needed and make recommendations to management for associates to address needsReview high-level project related documents before passing along to stakeholdersPerform risk analysis and minimize risk exposure across multiple projectsDirect activities with other departments and divisions to meet project objectivesAssist in mentoring and training newer project managers, project leads, and senior project leadsEnsure that projects meet stakeholder objectives 8. Deliver project presentations to team members, stakeholders, and executivesParticipate in project operational duties as needed based on the demands of the teamTravel and attend meetings and seminars as requiredAssist with other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere upon requestRequirementsBachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or several years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceActive participation in project management continuing education is preferredExhibit strong levels of organization, communication, and leadershipAbility to communicate effectively in oral and written forms and possess good problem resolution skillsAbility to deliver engaging, informative, well-organized project presentations to various levels of the CompanyAbility to distribute tasks according to skills of each team member and effectively utilize each team member to his/her fullest potentialAbility to anticipate stakeholder needs and recognize scope changes that have impact across projectsAbility to consult on projects within or outside the DivisionAbility to seek improved methodologies and work with other Project Managers for implementationAbility to challenge others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentorAbility to facilitate team meetings and handle project conflicts within and outside of the teamAbility to understand complex concepts related to the projectBenefitsAt The Concord Group, we’re proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the wellbeing of our associates.
