Patient – You understand that every resident is different and may need additional time, encouragement, or support. Dependable – Our residents and your coworkers count on you to be there when you're scheduled. Observant – You notice changes in residents and understand the importance of communicating concerns to the care team. Team-Oriented – You enjoy working together and supporting your coworkers to provide excellent resident care. Respectful – You believe every resident deserves dignity, privacy, choice, and the highest quality of care. Positive – You bring a caring attitude and help create a home-like environment for our residents. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous caregiving, healthcare, senior living, memory care, home care, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English Must be comfortable working with older adults, including residents who may have physical, cognitive, or behavioral challenges Must be dependable and able to work assigned shifts Must successfully complete required training and competency programs Must meet applicable health and employment requirements New to senior living? Physical Requirements Move intermittently throughout the workday Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull as needed Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, mobility, and personal care Lift, push, pull, move, and/or carry at least 25 pounds as required Use mechanical lifting or mobility equipment when appropriate Work safely with residents who may have physical, cognitive, or behavioral challenges Assist with emergency evacuation procedures when necessary Maintain the physical and emotional ability to provide safe and compassionate resident care Health & Safety Requirements Employees must meet applicable community health requirements, including required health screenings and examinations, and comply with infection prevention, workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and company policies.
